In this series about pawn structures, GM Alex Lenderman will discuss further chess strategies involving pawns. What is a pawn storm?
A Pawn storm is a situation in which several Pawns are moved in rapid succession toward the opponent's defenses or King. A Pawn storm usually involves adjacent Pawns on one side of the board, which can either be the queenside or the kingside.
