Point taken if you exclusively play bullet, but as a bit of fun in the mix of opening / middlegame / endgame study and calculation work I think it can be helpful. In my humble (2000 in classical, 2450 in bullet) opinion the real issue is having the discipline to structure your allocated “chess time” so that you’re getting the balance right.
