Seven tips how to write a successful chess book

Hello GM_ILikeBlitz,

I actually wanted to write you the following two lines first:
"I don't know how you could use such an embarrassing photo for your blog post.
Sorry, but when I saw that, I didn't even start reading your text."

Out of curiosity, I started reading your article anyway ... and had to laugh at how you managed to "deceive" me.

Great text, and I can confirm your description that as a reader I always keep looking for mistakes made by the author when I find one right at the beginning of the book.

All the best to you.

Many thanks for your feedback!

There are two reasons, a serious one and a funny one. (I'm not completely sure which is which.)

First, I am not sure whether the others share my tastes and my sense of humor. (Sometimes they do, sometimes not.) I published the text long ago and after a week it still had only one like, the one which local texts automatically receive from their authors. I even considered removing that thumb up to reach a total zero.

Next, a good text should provoke questions.
