- Hello, I would like to buy a chess lesson.
- Sure, 300$.

Though I wouldn't pay 500 dollars for a bottle of water, but if someone gives me 500 dollars for a bottle of water, then I won't accept the money and give them water for free.
(PS. I won't let my opponent to capture a strong piece in exchange though!)

On a serious note, these 'advices' are on every place I have seen before. What's special? Rather they should be detailed lessons for positional cases where it's not always easy to determine when to exchange and when not.
Why is the Knight preferred in the end example? It can only move to 4 possible squares, the pawns have stopped the Knight from moving to all of the dark squares?
By the time it re-routes, can't the King and Bishop get into the game?
I think it is pretty equal if White is to play/move!
Checked it out with Engine Vs Engine - And yep if White moves first, the game is a draw!
So I kinda failed to understand what the idea was lol my bad?

Pawns are the most valuable In the endgame a pawn can be better than a rook or a bishop.
