Great review, and I agree about the solutions being printed under the diagram being a real no-go. That suggestion to cover them "with an opaque object" in the introduction! My Forward Chess version has some errors (for example, in the second problem there is a major chunk of analysis text missing, and a perpetual is marked with +=) but I hope that will be fixed—it is the right platform for this valuable resource, I think.
By the way, both diagrams in your post are showing as "So's Surprise in the..." and are in the starting position. Maybe the underlying study changed since initial posting?
