MECHANICS FOR THE CHESS TOURNAMENT

The tournament will be conducted using the Swiss-system in the
preliminary round. In the preliminaries, players will be paired randomly
and would play 30 mins. (classical). The semi-final round would be a
knock-out system in 10 mins. (rapid). The final round is also a knock-out
system, but in 5 mins. (blitz). Tournament format will be finalized after
that the possible number of participants are determined.
Games will be played on a laptop/cellphone. The players will be paired
online in lichess.com interface in the WIT CHESS ARENA.
