This team is for junior members of Watford Chess Club and a limited number of other juniors known to members of the club. Watford Juniors play in several online events including the Online 4 Nations Chess League and its junior equivalent.

There are also club-organised events. These are usually ECF-rated, in which case entries can be accepted only from juniors whose actual identity is known to the team leader. (At the risk of stating the obvious, if we don't know who you are, we can't rate your games. And, if you're in "safe" mode here, we can't message you to explain this).

Over the board, the club meets on Monday evenings at Herts Bowling Club, Watford WD17 3BT starting 6 o'clock. See https://watfordchessclub.org/ for more information. There is, however, currently a pause on accepting new members (except anyone >ECF1400) due mainly to space considerations at the club.
