Edukos Chess Competition

Event page for Edukos's fundraiser event, Competition 002: Chess

The tournament starts at 6:00. Please register before that by going to "Competition 02: Chess" under the tournaments tab and selecting join. Be at the tournament lobby at 6:00.

Rules:
-Traditional Chess rules apply.
-Every player will have 15 minutes on the clock. A 3-second increment has been set up.
-There will either be 7 rounds or as many required for every player to play each other once. If all players have played each other once, the tournament ends. There is no elimination.
-The winner will be decided based on the number of points accumulated based on wins, draws, and losses.
-In the event of there being an odd number of players, one player receives a buy per round. The system is set up so this does not unfairly discriminate against anyone.
-We will be present throughout the event to assist in case any trouble arises. Please reach out to us in the chat, but please note that all players can read your message. If there is any conflict you would like to discuss with us exclusively, please reach out to us on our Instagram handle and we will respond promptly. The organizers' judgments will be final in case of any conflicts.
