Checkmate COVID

This is the lichess team for Checkmate COVID. Here, we host publicly available tournaments to help raise money for COVID-19 relief. We host frequent, open access tournaments through this team to raise funds for COVID-19 relief. The winner of each of our online tournaments wins prize-money, which they then donate to an approved COVID-19 relief charity of their choice. We also host limited access tournaments that are more involved and take place over a few days. The top finishers in these tournaments win a more significant amount of prize money (than winners of our open access tournaments) that they donate to an approved COVID-19 relief charity.
