This is the online presence for Canterbury Chess Club, New Zealand. The clubrooms are located at Unit 9, 27 Tyne St, Christchurch.

The club is now closed for 2021. The opening nights for 2022 will be:

• THURSDAY - 6.15pm - 9pm: Casual and social play. All people of all ages are welcome. $2 per night charge for non-members. There may be impromptu blitz or rapid tournaments organized on the night. First night will be 13 January 2022.

• WEDNESDAY - 7pm until finished. Competitive play for members. Part-year memberships are available. First night will be 2 Feb 2022.

The club is CVC-compliant as per being a close-contact activity; vaccine passes are mandatory for those over the age of 12 years and 3 months.
