Antichess classical

On Lichess, there aren't any arena tournaments with slow time controls. Antichess fast games are really fun, but it often comes down to "which player made the fewest suicidal moves", or "which one didn't make the last suicidal move".

Playing with a slower time control and taking time to think every move is more likely to result in games without silly mistakes and incentivise well-thought initiatives. They also are more suitable for inexperienced players who don't yet have all the reflexes.

We decided to create this team to see if there are other players around who are interested in playing slower games, between two rapid arenas.

We'll try to find an appropriate spot in the tournament timetable, to play on a regular basis. We're thinking 90-120 min long arenas, with a time control of 5+5, or 5+8.

Welcome to the team !
