Rules of the 6th Lichess Bots Championship

@Ajile
We should try a different tiebreak system next championship. If we look at the bracket, 3/4 of all matches were determined by Armageddon–and ended in 0-0–which is a lottery. To reflect the skills of the bots more, we can reduce the number of 1+1s to 10 matches and increase the 1/2 + 1s or 1/4+1s or maybe even 1+0s, as the others have mentioned. Even though they have more volatility, shorter time controls are much better at determining an engine's strength than the current tiebreak system.
That is almost what I suggested :) Maybe 10 1+1 matches, 20 3/4+1, 25 1/2+1, 25 1/4+1, then 20 1+0. Someone is DEFINITELY going to get out with that
I also think that. current tiebreak system is just a lottery and basically anyone with a decent book + decent engine (not even with good hardware) can reach the tiebreak with any of the bots, even with the ones that are the strongest and have the strongest hardware...

This should be changed for next championships indeed
Yes, should do 1+0 and if they time out with 0 eval according to latest stockfish dev at depth 50 then its not counted as a loss...
@EmptikGod
Precisely. Due to people being in different places around the world and Lichess servers being in France, this should be a qualifier.
