Colle System

Though I've recommended avoiding the isolani, there are times when it cannot be avoided or is the best plan. The Intermediate course covered the isolani under the Isolated Pawn topic here: lichess.org/study/6AnWFDzO/E1qIQ286

In the resulting middle games from the above positions, White plays on the kingside and tries a kingside attack. See the example games in the same study for those games.

Bump. Another issue is Black playing something different near the very beginning - for example 1.d4 c5.

Another issue is thinking you'll just hammer out the moves of the Colle without paying attention to your opponent!
