IIRC the rating floor used to be 2200. Did lowering it to 2100 increase participation?

I see no reason to name names, but I doubt I am the only one to have noticed players circumventing this bar, for instance by creating duplicate accounts.

I agree that JL is a draw, and as he has said repeatedly about one's rating "it's just a number".

@Marlonc Not much, I would say. You can see the participation numbers from the post above (indicated by People -icon).

  • 17th arena was the first arena with 2100 rating limit.
  • 55th arena was the first arena that was officially scheduled by lichess.
