Lichess unjustly blocked everyone in our network and does not answer emails or posts for many weeks!

From my network administrator:

I noticed users of my network could not log in. I wrote to lichess about it.
The answer was unpersonal, without a name, without a greeting,
and only 1 line: "Hi, Someone used it to cheat, and now the IP is blocked."

I asked lichess to prove that someone cheated. They gave no answer.

They also blocked the gateway of the whole network. Why?

I wrote again, asking to give proof of the cheating and to unblock the network. Why should no-one from the network be allowed to play? No answer from lichess.

After 10 days I asked a 3rd time. No answer.

This is not right. It is very user UN-friendly!

If they say someone cheated, they have to prove it.
And even if someone did cheat, why not talk to the user? Why block everyone on the network?

In soccer, if a player commits a foul, the referee stops the game, the other team gets the ball.
If he commits a foul again, he is warned.
If he commits a foul again, he is shown the yellow card.
If he commits a foul again, he is shown the red card which means he must leave this one game.

If the action that lichess took in our case would be applied to soccer, the equivalent would be: a player commits a foul, and the whole stadium is blocked. What non-sense!

Lichess does not do right.

This behavior is arrogant and unworthy. It is the WORST for a good user experience, for all the users of our network!

Lets just pretend for a second that it wasn't you personally that was caught multiple times cheating; on multiple alternate accounts; which resulted in a IP Ban.

Do you really believe that a volatile message like this would have any positive effect on your situation?

Lastly; your soccer analogy is......ridiculous.
A better analogy would to be that your team got caught cheating at a place; and now your team is banned from playing at that location.

On the .00001% chance that it wasn't actually you doing the cheating; don't be mad at lichess. Be mad at whoever it was.
