What does a good opening repertoire (for White) look like?

Im well below the level where I really need to worry about openings, but at the same time, I would like to know enough to at least get to a playable middlegame.

I usually feel pretty comfortable as Black, but when I play White, its usually a mad fit of flailing until I blunder or worse.

So I want to start learning some white openings, even just the basic ideas, just so I can last to a reasonable middlegame.

What openings are important to know? What does your repertoire look like? How did you decide on those openings?
My repertoire looks like:
d4, Nf3, e3, Bd3, b3, Bb2, Nbd2, 0-0 in some order. Play it against everything.
If you are really successful with black, there's no shame in playing 1. a3?! and using your defensive system!

i find the best opening whic is easy to understand its safe and easy to execute as white is the london. reasearch it, learn it, use it, you will not regret it
The simplest is to play openings you play as black in reverse. Playing 1 a3 as #3 suggests is one way. Carlsen played that occasionally. There are more ambitious ways to play reverse openings. If you play Sicilian with black, then English 1 c4 with white, if you play King's Indian with black, then 1 Nf3 with white. The suggestion of #2 to play Colle is a reverse Slav Defence.
Most players prefer versatility as white to learning one and only reliable setup which is what people often do as black. When you're white you should make sure that you have something very sharp and also a timid alternative since making the first move gives you privilege of choosing the game tempo. Sometimes you'll feel like playing a solid positional games while more often than not you'll be in the attacking mood.
Play 1. e4 like every beginner did. Check out where you went wrong and do better next time. A chess database, strong friends who answer questions and books are helpful.

Or play 1.b3 and read Larsens 'good move guide'.
