I wanna play chess with a friend but she is beginning and I'd like to remove a piece of the chessboard on lichess or chesscom but idk how to do. Does anyone know how to do this ?

@sayko30 Go to tools, and then select board editor. You can edit the chessboard whichever way you want as long as it is a legal position.
Click play with a friend.
Then change the Variant drop down to From Position
Then click the pencil icon and edit the board.
@sayko30 Oh, and also, once you're done, click "continue from here" and then "play with a friend". Once you create the challenge, send the link of the game to the person you're playing against.
And once you've done this a few times, the different positions you've set up for starting will appear when you play "from position." It helps to be able to read FEN notation.
I do this when I'm playing my students, and it's how I learned chess. My first teacher (my father) played me with no Queen and no Rooks at first. As I improved he added a Rook, then the other Rook, then the Queen.
