O just wanted to know why do we follow and what use is it?

Followers get notified if the person they are following joins a new team and/or creates a study

Many people just want to gain followers for gaining much popularity. But it has also got some uses... Like @Koo8384 said, it *can* be useful. When you follow a good player, you will get notified about most of his/her activities. You can join good teams and other things... You can analyze also the games of the players you are following with ease. I mean you don't wanna search a game whenever it has been played by the player you are interested in, do you?
