CENTIPAWN NUMBER IS LOWER OR HIGHER BETTER?

I just ran one of my game thru the analyses and it said i had a centipawn of 7, but i don't know if that is good or bad. can anyone shed some light on this. i have searched for the answer but im still a bit confused.
thanks for any help.

The lower the better. 7 is really good. It could mean your opponent blundered in the opening and allowed you to easily advance your advantage.

It's basically the engine scoring your moves. The evaluation of the position after your move, and the evaluation before your move, and averaging it out.

7 cp is 7% of a pawn loss on average, basically.
Hey OldPalHappy, thank you for the explanation, now it makes sense, i really appreciate that.
