Every 20 or 30 games, it will appear that my opponent is sitting for several minutes on one move, yet in reality they made a move and the servers forgot to tell me, so I refresh the page and have usually mere seconds left. The only 100% foolproof method I can think of is keeping it open on my computer and phone at the same time, maniacally refreshing each every 30 seconds or so. This is not conducive to focusing on the chess. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening, or at least get it extremely rare, like <1/1000 games?
Just happened to me again in this game if that helps: lichess.org/6dXTWFfc/black
Reload the website whenever your opponent apparently has not moved for a suspiciously long time.
