OTB Games - topics I have to work on

I'm a 1300ish Fide ELO player lacking consistency, I am able to beat 1600elo players but also ready to lose against 800-1000 elo players.

I would be thankful if u could give me suggestions on which topics I should focus on.

Here are my latest two tournament games - 2 terrible losses.

me dont liked your opening.
If have bit time why you do a sacrifice?
dont change the rook when the change is better for him this is valid for other pieces

@azuaga well the ruy lopez is played on all levels - or do u mean the continuation after that? Which sacrifice do you mean? Yeah usually i always stop before I take - couldn‘t think of something else in that situation.
Game 1: under 2 min is not serious time trouble. People here play a whole bullet game in 1 min.
22 Bd5 was passive. 22 Rc5 attacking pawn a5 was strong.
24 g3 serves no purpose, better Ne3 to redeploy Nd1 and reconnecting your rooks.
34 Bxf7+ is a blunder.

Game 2:
10 Be2 blocks the e-file. 10 Bf1 is more accurate; maybe later g3 and Bg2.
12 b3 is weakening. Better 12 Qc1 preparing Bh6 to trade his strong Bg7.
14 gxf3 weakens your king. Better 14 Nxf3 planning the pawn advance e5.
22 Nxh3 is obvious but wrong. Strong was 22 Nxe4 Nxe4 23 Nd5 threatening Ne7#
@tpr thanks a lot for your comment! I appreciate it!

After these two games: which are the main areas I should work on? Middle game topics? Positional play? Calculation? It looks like I lack understanding of the middle game.

What do u think?
I believe you must be more careful with pawn moves. game 1: 24 g3, game 2 12 b3 and 14 gxf3. Pawns cannot go back. Any pawn move has consequences that last until the end of the game. So think carefully.
