Lichess is not a democracy. The owners and moderators of Lichess make decisions, not necessarily by voting.

I have no opinion on KB, nor does it matter to Lichess if I did.

It is not a democracy, no websites/communities work on such a concept. You cannot persue Lichess to ban ultrabullet, even if you had 2 million votes. Your argument that "they rely on trust therefore it's a democracy" is an obvious fallacy.

Using keaboard just to make senseless or automatic moves even faster contradicts the spirit and values of chess. We're playing a board game based on thinking, not some rapidfire gamers' bs. KB use should be limited to disciplines that have nothing to do with thinking anyway like hyper or ultra.

yes, the KB extension is allowed on lichess. Whether it should or shouldn't is a topic for discussion, but it is allowed at the time of writing

I believe that kb should be allowed. The point of bullet chess is to limit your thinking time, not your time to make your move. It's not a form of cheating because it does not help a player make a better move, nor does it really give more time to a player. Every time it's used, the player has already come up with a move, and it's only purpose is to help the player deliver that move faster. If you ban keyboards for their speed, one might argue that Lichess should ban phones and ipads too, because touchscreen is faster than a mouse. It just doesn't work out, does it?

And also, Lichess has openly stated several times that they DO listen to the community from time to time. A great example would be the shield tournaments and the marathons. I'll bet that all the new puzzle features came from our requests as well.
