I think new highlights have been implemented with the recent update a few minutes ago. The highlight for the last moves looks awful on my board. It is now turquoise or cyan on the green board I use. I will try other boards and hope that is not the new universal highlight color. Although that's exactly what I fear. What was wrong with the old highlight?
