Grandmaster Draws???????

Grandmasters evaluate the position quickly and if it is a draw they will just offer draw because to save energy i think 🤣
Maybe they think that the position is equal and is very difficult to win, or perhaps they are short on time.
There are a lot of positions in endgames that are known to be a draw. Offering a draw is an act of professional honor, basically saying: "I think that you as a 2700 rated GM are capable to hold this theoretical draw."

But it has to be said that the drawing habits notably changed with Magnus Carlsen. In the 1980s and the 1990s there were a lot of draws in positions that still held a bit of life. Carlsen fights them out and he squeezed a lot of wins out of positions where in earlier times a draw would have been agreed without giving it a second thought. And people learned from him so today the drawing rate is considerably lower.

Your answer is the best. If two equally matched GMs are pretty sure that they will have a tiresome, mentally draining encounter during a long tournament - when both are tired from previous games - that is the perfect reason to have an arranged draw.
