Highest average opponent in case of a tie, so person with tougher "strength of schedule" wins?
Or, sudden death playoff, higher performance rating starts with white and they rotate black/white until someone wins. This requires no changes to current lichess systems so is easy to implement.

Just congratulations and thanks to the entire Lichess team for organizing such events!
Isn't it so obvious?
1) Who played less game for that score is winner.
2) If that is same, calculate average opponent rating.
3) And if every indicator is equal, then you can think of a bullet games sets or so.
Performance rating is totally nonsense.
Lately I've played a tournament, I could play only 4 games, win all of them. Look at this outcome:
Me (1700~ player)
I've beat these players in a row: a)1641 b)1484 c) 1850 d)1816
And it gives me performance rating of: 2198 !!
What if I beat 2 more average guys, will you think of me a GM? This is just an egobooster, nothing more.
