Looked at a really old game I played and the analysis says I made a mistake and should have castles but I did.

Maybe on the move where you castled you had no good moves.

That is pretty weird. I would probably credit that to the "request an analysis" feature using a lower depth than you can allow stockfish to reach if you just let it run.
