i just had a game when my opponent clearly made en paasent ... why did it not work as usualß
how can i show the game?
@b222bb copy the address.
However, I presume this is the game:
I don't see any en passant captures there. Maybe you need to revisit the rule and check you fully understand it.

here, this might help a little... in the game that was shown, there were no possible en passant captures.

black move 9 pawn to e6
e6 is just a normal pawn move
Well, generally speaking, there is no problem moving 1.Ng1-f3, for example, mainly because the interface doesn't allow illegal moves like 1.Ng1-g3, 1.Ng1-e4, 1.Ng1-d8, and so on. But on the other hand any legal moves, (including en passant) are always possible, which might be tricky sometimes.
@b222bb there is no en Passant move in your game, as @FredtheCrusher already mentioned e6 is just a normal move
His problem is that for en passant the pawn has to move two squares and not one. He wanted tound play 10. dxe6 e.p.
whites pawn needed to be on the 5th rank, the e pawn needed to have moved 2 squares there after.
