Is it ever possible for human to calculate mate in 45?

I think it's more likely a strong grandmaster will know if it's a known forced draw or if they are head or behind. They might have a very strong feeling that is partly calculated that they have forced mate.

I've seen videos of games where it looks like a normal, even, middle game, and one grandmaster thinks for an hour. then sacs their queen and causes their opponent's king to go for a walk. 20+ moves later they win. Whether they acturately calculated their opponents next 20 moves or not I don't think anyone knows. When you're calculating against a human player you might have a good idea what their response to a move will be, but you can never know for sure. So you'd need to calculate 45 moves with 100s of variations, rather than assume your opponent will play the stockfish move.

They will probably find the mate in 7 before the mate in 45.
ok, if you say Is it ever possible for human to calculate mate in 45? i will say sometime can but sometime cannot

why? is Because if you play like some lichess rapid game 10+0 or 10+5 you will not able to to calculate mate in 45 for a human.

but if you are play Fide, sometime you can calculate mate in 45. why? Because fide time is 1 hour or 2 hour. so you can use all this time to calculate.

but i think 11%can , 89%cannot.
