Lichess v2 is coming

Waiting eagerly. How to contribute to code base?

Hey @thibault ! Thank you. I just have one question: Will it be possible to use a DGT USB e-board with Lichess v2? It would be great because in the latest version, Their is only one way to use a DGT USB e-board (except of creating a software myself and I can't) : download the Acid Ape Chess app (grandmaster edition = about 20€) and you have to pay about 50€ of in app purchase of DGT drivers to play with a DGT e-board on Lichess. There was an other software: Chess Guard but it is not available anymore. So is there a solution in the 2nd version?

My laptop is so old that its architecture doesn't support modern browsers. When Lichess V2 is out, will I have to go to chess.com/?

It's prolly not gonna have DGT support, no.

I hope the version 1 pieces can still be chosen? Those version 2 pieces are ugly according to me - de gustibus et coloribus non est disputandum. Is there an option to choose?

You will be able to chose the piece set you want, yes.
