Why did I lose so many points?

I played this game and lost 28 points. And also, stockfish said that at the end of the game, we were tied. So why did I lose so many points?

The first few games that you play on a given time control will change your rating much more than usual.

Yeah, that I don't understand. You two were both the same rating, so why did one gain rating and one lose rating even though you have the same rating and you drew. That's confusing... Any mods know why?
