2000+ in rapid.

I took me very long from 2000 to 2100 ._. it's quite a gap to overcome

Congratulations!! I too hit 2000 recently (started during covid lockdown last year). With white I used to play 1.f4 (bird's opening) exclusively all through, in past 7 days, trying king's Indian attack or 1.e4 ( Sicilian, Vienna Game). 2000 is 92%ile of the weekly active players, 2100 is 96%ile i guess

2100 is a hurdle after which 2200 comes a lot easier. [ I know my rating right know is below 2200 but my peak was higher.]

Now I am also 2000 rating

@KOMOKOID perhaps the version of Stockfish/lc/anyotherchessengine just isn't that great.

Congratulations! I recently reached 2100 and each step is hard, and it takes time but it is worth it. For more :)

Well done and keep going - my personal opinion is that the steps above 2000 get a lot steeper. In different directions, I feel a real difference in quality from myself when I play either a 2300 or a 2600.

@piscatorox Over 2000, how much difference would you say there is, between fide classical rating and lichess rapid rating?
