When you blunder your Queen, do you pause a few seconds to let the pain sink in?

I'm a weak player, trying to improve, I make plenty of blunders. Playing blitz just to get quantity of games in as I don't take chess too seriously.

So, for those mortals who blunder their Queen, do you also react with a pause after your opponent takes your Queen, to let the pain sink in? Sometimes I look around, feel empty and lost. "I just lost my Queen!! HOW?! WHY?!" I retrace the piece that took me, "yep, it was a legal move, but how did I let it happen?!"

So, if this happens to you, please, treat this thread as therapy. Thank you.
No pain, no feeling for her, wifes come and go. I just try to promote a pawn.

It's a man's man's world but it would nothing without a woman or a h pawn
So you don't take chess too seriously but losing a Queen you take it too seriously hmmm interesting.
We're playing internet chess which doesn't count for much so I usually resign. But making blunders like that is the cause of some horrible feelings. Definitely study the game and learn.
I lol'd @ the title haha
Yeah, definitely take a moment before resigning or even playing on sometimes.
Well I don't always resign, especially in blitz when I can hold out for a win on time and/or often my opponents are weak like me so they blunder their Queen back, sometimes even get mated!

Always fight to the end, but those few seconds...a shot in the gut, losing the Old Lady like that!
Never resign when there is a chance your opponent will blunder/lose on time. Have a look at this game (though I blundered other pieces but not the queen) where I was down a queen in the endgame. Although it is a win on time the final position is a mate-in-two!

Nice win. Never give up! Feel the pain of the lost Queen (or other piece) and continue the fight!
I normally resign, but I should make an effort not to resign because I want to get better at playing in lost positions because I'm normally in lost positions anyways.
