do you agree with that quote?

Knights are deadly! you never know when they start hopping around on the board
I think Larsen said something similar, like "in blitz a knight is worth a rook". And there's also the Russian(?) saying "the bishop is better but the knight is trickier".

Generally, I'd agree with Hort, especially for the blitz played in his era. The knight can deliver more checks than a lone bishop which can be very useful.

However, in today's internet blitz there are some morally challenged individuals who would flag you with only K+B vs K+N since moving the knight takes a little bit more time on average than moving the bishop.
for some of us its takes time to make calculations for the knight or to get it in the right position... in blitz the time can get tricky... i have to disagree with the quote...
Yes, totally agree.
But, there are two different reasons for this.
1) Advantages of Knight over Bishop

i) Knight is a short range piece, that is, for making a move with it one has to pay attention to a particular area it covers unlike the Bishop which controls squares upto the edges.

ii) Knight can control every square of chessboard unlike a bishop that can only move on a particular colour square.

iii)Knight moves are tougher to predict than a bishop which can go to on a square of any of the two diagonals it controls as one has to calculate more for responding to knight moves since it's common to blunder when a Knight is hopping around.

2) Perception of playing with Knight

It is the player who is weaker at calculating at blitz, and the Knight is simply more difficult to handle with less time to calculate due to the kind of moves one can make with it.

So it's matter of how the brain handles Knights as there's nothing special in the Knight.

Therfore, it's because of our mind that we think Knight is stronger than Bishop in fast chess.
