can I ask to become a mod?

#10 I am not from this group but I think that you are a helpful mod that is always nice in the forums and helps other people!

I bet they made Rookie mod because he is such an awesome member of the community <3 (and didn't ask in the forums to be mod...)

Yeah just contribute to lichess they will one day ask you if you want to be one and be a nice member of the community

Yes, of course you can. Anyone can ask for anything. The better question is whether or not lichess will listen. Which they won't of course

But you can drop subtle hints like “I would be a very fair and exceptionally good moderator” on threads you know mods are watching
