All other teams have had/ are having at least 1 internal arena within the last 24 hours, we haven’t had one in over a month. On top of this, our community is the second smallest of the official lichess variant teams and these could be able to boost popularity of all variants, which isn’t being done here unlike others are doing. 2/3rds of our tournaments have been exclusively ‘elite’, hardly catering to newer players, which we all were at one point. The arenas we have hosted has a combined total of 125 who have played in them - under 10% of who is in the team - and even this is an exaggeration as it includes players twice or more who have played in more than one of the hosted arenas or joined before it started and didn’t actually play. Today antichess had an arena which garnered 841 players - roughly 35% of their team and I can’t see a reason we shouldn’t be getting similar numbers of players in proportion to our player base. I believe there should be more tournaments and hosted more regularly, giving this variant the chance to gain the attention it deserves.
