Unable to find friends / followers

I don’t know what happened but I am in the app and no longer able to see my friends/followers or the people that I follow. Therefore I am unable to challenge them to a match. Please let me know I am able to again find my friends and challenge to a match. Thank you!

To see the list of your friends, Click on the hamburgers menu button (three horizontal lines) -> Dropdown next to your username -> Profile -> Friends option directly about the sign out option. You can see the list of all those whom you have followed.

Then, to challenge them to a match, click on their profile and you'll see their profile with options to challenge them to a match, compose message etc.

As for followers, please check the link posted in #3 or #4. Follower count and the list of followers were removed from the mobile app as well.

Please read the full first post before replying. Challenging those whom you are following is allowed by Lichess and that's one of the main reasons that the follow system is still there. It's only the followers option that was removed due to its misuse, because (from #1 in that link):

> Similarly, the visible followers number makes people create multiple accounts, beg for followers in chat rooms, spam our inboxes, pollute our forums.
> It makes the entire website worse, and it creates unnecessary work for our moderators.
> It creates artificial connections between players who wouldn't follow each other, if it wasn't for the followers number.
> These meaningless follows create as much server load as the meaningful ones, but they serve no purpose. What a waste!
