Opponents time ran out - why was it a Draw?

Want to learn why this game was a draw? I had many available moves, his clock went to zero - game was a Draw ???
You had only your king. Given infinite time, you can never checkmate him through any legal series of moves.

FIDE Laws of Chess, Article 6, Section 9:
"Except where one of Articles 5.1.1, 5.1.2, 5.2.1, 5.2.2, 5.2.3 applies, if a player does not complete the prescribed number of moves in the allotted time, the game is lost by thatplayer. However, the game is drawn if the position is such that the opponent cannot checkmate the player’s king by any possible series of legal moves."
This is a weekly question. There should be something sticky'd for this, and a FAQ on cheating and countermeasures that are in place.
Interesting, so if we actually followed the rule

"""
5.2.2 The game is drawn when a position has arisen in which neither player can checkmate the opponent’s king with any series of legal moves. The game is said to end in a ‘dead position’. This immediately ends the game,
"""

Then this game should end in a draw and not me loosing on time:

@BlackSalt This is legally considered a draw under fide rules, but as it is hard for a computer to detect such situations, lichess just calls it a win.
@BlackSalt that position is an exception to the rules Lichess uses, because the only way to prove that this is a draw is to have a computer analyse it. Given that an exception, though rare, could happen at any time, the only solution would be to have an instance of Stockfish monitoring every game being played, which is impractical. Lichess does its best to follow FIDE rules, the main exceptions being rules which "call for an arbiter" or similar, because there isn't one.
Blacksalt vs AI lvl 8 CAN result in a checkmate for black with at least a series of legal moves, say 25.Kc2 Kc7 26.Kb2 a3+ 27.Kxa3 Kb7 28.Kb2 Kc7 29.a4 bxa4 30.Kd2 a3 31.Ke2 a2 32. Kf2 a1=Q and so on, so no, it should not be a draw by the 5.2.2 fide rule aforementioned.
@H-HH That would be before last moves 24. a3 Kc8
(The pic is a bit misleading here)
@laatikko oh yes, I didn't see that one more move had been played, so I retract my statement.
