how do people play like trash in the opening and later proceed to find the only good moves

Many Chess streamers at youtube have been very popular and get several hundred thousands views a day for their daily uploads. The movie Queens Gambit contributed also a lot to the popularity regarding chess and the streamers at youtube.

There’s much positive one can say about the above.

But one very negative side effect is that loads and hordes of kids and immature adults cheating here and there with all sorts of apps, chromeextensions, bots etc, have filled the chess sites and made the sites worse than ever before. Cheat detection tools on the sites is really a joke up against these kids that is experts on cheat methods from all sorts of other video games.

For a year ago I had another account here and made a stable blitz rating of around 2150 and a rapid rating a bit over 2200. There’s no chance for that now with the thick layer of cheaters that fill up now from kids that watch the streamers and want to show of and reach levels they can brag of.

I got mad and really very mad and sad, since close to zero of my frequent reports regarding suspected cheats gave any results. It seems that they only closed/banned the extremely few that only cheated and only used engine moves from the very start of the game to the very end of the game.

So I closed the account in a sort of rage over that. Opened a new account at another site. Played there for a long period. That site was even Worse I found. Closed that in pure disappointment. And opened new one here again. I am addicted to chess and can’t quit. So I play here now.
