Does antichess make you worse at chess?

I've been playing antichess a lot because its a cool variant but then i played a game of normal chess against a computer and I felt much weaker. Does antichess make you worse at chess?
I experience the same after having played about six or more Antichess games in a row. In the first normal game after this period, I feel a bit uncertain and have to think longer for simple moves, because I have to remember that taking pieces is not compulsary and in most cases not beneficial any more. So playing normal Bullet or Blitz games games after a long sequence of Antichess games is not a good idea. But you will soon adapt again to normal chess when you take enough time for it.
variants dont make a difference, but blitz/bullet makes me worse at rapid/classical.

Also if I don't play atomic or racing kings for a long time I lose my skill but crazyhouse/KotH it doesn't matter.
I feel like playing it some helped me be more aware of what squares my opponent was controlling, which can be useful.
