Way Too Much Chess, You Say?

My Lichess "Recap" cheekily told me that I've played "way too much chess" !

Is that ... a thing?

How can the stylish older spaniel keeper possibly play "too much" chess? I keep the spaniel fed, I send and receive what e-mails need to be sent, I bark when I have to bark and I comfort when I can.

Too much chess? Preposterous!

Judging by my pitiful performance, I have played far TOO LITTLE chess!

Is it possible to play too much? Assuming, you know, that homework gets done, jobs don't get lost, vitamins get consumed, friends don't get neglected and spaniels get fed?

Chess is like a Christmas present that doesn't even need to be wrapped. Just fire up the laptop, brew the pot (the kind with caffeine, mind you), and settle in for a lesson in humility! What's not to love?

Too much? Bah, humbug!

I'm glad to hear your older spaniel is stylish, very important in the spaniel world.

As to the recap mine just said
" Who the heck are you" ?

Plunged me right into an identity crisis.
No need for the crisis, @Dukedog. All good forum readers know who you are, even if some confused AI bot does not.

Incidentally, it was not the spaniel who is stylish. The spaniel ignores fashion and concentrates on biscuits.
I think that with my 12,000 games, 80% of people here will think I have actually played TOO MUCH chess.

Even though it's one of the years I played the fewest games
