Promoting to Stalemate

It's one of those games where I chose not to resign, turns out I was right with my decision...
My Opponent promoted to a Rook .
It made no difference Rook or Queen.
I played an unusual setup against the French defense.
Any thoughts on this?
he could have simply pushed his other pawn or something. He had 6 minutes and 30 seconds on his clock to calculate the potential stalemate... It's literally just calculating one move ahead.
i would've just sacrificed my queen and knight because i know that the two pawns are going to promote into queens
Thanks for your replies.
Very rare that I dont resign, when I'm in a losing position, sometimes though, i like to see how i would get checkmated.

That you can fight for points until the end.

Chess is almost never totally lost.

If ELO is important to you, fight until the end.
This is so relatable!!! I myself am very bad at endgames and there would be situations where I am totally winning but end up with a stalemate.
