Bad Strike

Lately I just cannot progress, I am committing plenty of dumb mistakes which come with the cost of fully games. It’s been almost 2 months since my last big advance, I am simply stucked in 1720 ELO. I get the feeling of frustration, I don’t play with the same certainty of wining as before. It is almost as if I am losing my touch. I need to clear my mind and remember what made chess so fun at the beginning. Any recommendations? Surely some advice would be useful for me to overcome this Bad Strike.
I spend 99% of my time feeling this way, with random week-long spurts of elo increase only every year or so...

Personally I suspect this is a result of me improving with a static elo, but also becoming lazier and lazier as I'm able to maintain the same level with less effort. When I realize I'm not playing my best and start applying myself, I rise suddenly. (I just finished my last rise from 1700 to 1900, and I'm feeling terrible now that it seems to be over).

I don't know if the same idea is applicable to your situation, but you may be able to break the plateau by putting complete effort into every game, and making sure you're not in a frustrated mindset when doing so. As for how to do this, I wish I knew myself...
