There are puzzles rated more than odd way.
An example:Open training/47670
and you find a puzzle rated 2260.
The sensible rating would be about 1000 to my mind!
How are ratings set?
An other not so good thing at least to me is that if you find a squence to mate with for example 6 moves and there is a solution with 5 moves your rating drops a lot. I understand that you are supposed to find the best solution. Still sensible would be zero points to my mind at least. Not negative. Do not seem fair?
I understand practical difficulties with that but still.
Solution could be something as playing against computer and evaluation of the move by computer .
