Does anyone know any opening which is is not very common yet playable?

Maybe the Ponziani for White and the Modern Defense for Black?

If you search something unusual and aggressive, you may want to try polish opening (b4) (as white)

many people hoping his opponent would blunder:
1. e4 e5
2. Bc4 Nc6
3. Qh5!? Nf6??
4. Qxf7#
Mieses variation of the Vienna Game. 1.e4, 2.Nc3 then fianchetto the king's bishop.

The Belgrade Gambit in the Four Knights Game can be pretty interesting. You could steer toward that with a Vienna Game move order if you wanted to. Or try to get there with the usual 2.Nf3 move order.

The 4... Qb6 Sicilian ... Otherwise known as The Grivas Variation After E Grivas although GM Barlov used to play it as well & once played Qxc3 instead of Rxc3 & won . The Idea is to chase the d4 Knight away from the Center to worry less about Piece Sacrifices & to counterattack as well . 1e4 c5 2Nf3 Nc6 3d4 cxd4 4Nxd4 Qb6 . ANOTHER Variation of the Sicilian is The Poulegevesky Variation 7...b5 in The Najdorf >>> You can Read about this variation in Poulegevesk'ys works Grandmaster Preperation Performance . Grivas Sicilian is a book by GM Grivas on 4... Qb6 as I have played that variation a very long time ... The black side of the Rauser is played alot but is interesting as well
