Profile picture and avatar in Lichess

It may only be available to Patrons who donate, avatars are worthless in my opinion, on another forum I had Nikola Tesla as my avatar, I was attacked by another member for 'comparing' myself to the genius Nikola, so I changed my avatar to 'Bob the Builder' and asked them if I now believe myself to be a master builder!

you can add profile picture using imgur.com just upload a photo to that website, copy the adress link and go to your profile and paste it there

@TheRider there are no special features for patrons on this site.

Suddenly the video you uploaded 2 years ago became very useful.

Can anyone tell me why my profile pic isn't working? It used to work for, several weeks, I'd say than one day just stopped. I know the link to the pic is not broken because when I go to it directly it's still there on the host site.

Maybe the website has disabled hotlinking? It's a bandwidth cost on their end and many sites do not allow it, some image sites even display a 'hotlinking not allowed' image instead of the image.
Try downloading the image from that website, re-upload it to imgur and then hotlink to it
