Lichess is unfair to players from regions with poor Internet connection!!!

I agree. A loss of connection is unfairly treated at the moment.
I understand that some people hate waiting for the other player to play, I get that. But if you opt for a 10 minute game, your opponent has ten minutes, they can divide the time as they wish. There might be a software issue with connection loss that causes a problem with the chess clock in the lichess game software? If it is possible to allow for a connection drop to be allowed within that players time I don’t see any problem for the other player.
I have lost two games due to lost connection over the last 3 years, so not a big problem, but annoying enough.
There are plenty of other chess websites. Go to one of them. Maybe pay a monthly fee and then complain!
"Luck is matter of geography"
I am sorry to hear your experience on the website is bad sometime and I hope lichess will at least consider your point.
Unfortunatly for you, I think the actual system of automatic warning/temporary ban is quiet reasonable and good, it even differs from time control to time control (longer waiting time for longer time control).

I'll add this: in some particular cases Lichess help the slow/poor connections more than the fast ones. That's the case of lag compensation which result in bugged timers for the fast connection player against the slow connection user (it's a known issue).

You are right to try improving your situation, but it has nothing to do with "unfairness". Unfair it's when there is the possibility to improve the situation without hurting the others' one. This service (online chess) requir precise bases; first of all a connection that, unfortunately, doesn't depend only on Lichess.

I repeat: I hope the developers listen to you and try to find a way. But reality is a bitch sometime and I don't think this case is unfair because of Lichess

Hope things get better!
