Sound effects

I noticed that the atomic explosion sound effect is not the same as it was before (when the sound is set to standard). The new one is kind of irritating and not nearly as satisfying to listen to. How do I switch it back?

I found the pull request that changed the sound effect: github.com/lichess-org/lila/pull/13436
The comment there says "It was improperly mastered and had audible clipping."

Personally I still prefer the old one.

Didn't seem like there was clipping. It sounded perfect. It's a big bummer ultimately, the new sound suuuucks. And if the old sound was imperfect, then craft a new explosive sound. It's odd. Had that sound effect for 10 years if not more, and now it's an issue?

I found someone who created a Chrome extension to allow you to use custom sound files: lichess.org/forum/general-chess-discussion/i-made-a-chrome-extension-that-allows-you-to-upload-custom-sounds-to-lichess
