Suggestion: specify the fact that advertising in privates chats is not permitted

I think it would be better if it is specified that advertising in privates chats is not permitted, I think it is only specified in public chats. There are a lot of people who think it is okay to advertise in private. I receive a lot of messages of people advertising their Team and I thought it is okay so I began to advertise a Team yesterday but I received a warning from lichess.

It is not specified that it is not permitted in privates chat, I think. It would be really good to specify it because as I said I receive a lot of messages of people advertising.
From what I understand, lichess.org/page/chat-etiquette is intended to discuss only public chats (as evidenced in lichess.org/page/communication-guidelines, for instance), and there is no single "etiquette" page discussing private chats specifically. Regardless of that, however, lichess.org/terms-of-service states "Posting unsolicited messages like junk mail, chain letters, or just general spam is just frustrating for our Users, so don’t do it," and lichess.org/page/forum-etiquette states "We ask that you keep all advertisements outside of Lichess. This includes asking others to join your team or tournament, or check out your YouTube channel." Both of these statements are blanket statements covering all of Lichess--including private chats. (Though I do agree that "We only timeout people for public chats like tournaments or simul chats" on the Chat Etiquette page is slightly misleading, to say the least.)

I would suggest to specify, for example, in the forum etiquette that advertising is not permitted in the forums as well as in privates chats. It would probably stop many people from doing it.
Is this unclear?

"We ask that you keep all advertisements outside of Lichess."
Even there, I think it's pretty clear:

"❌ “Join my team...” (you can advertise your team or other links in your own profile lichess.org/account/profile or in your own team)"

Like, it lists two places where you can put your own events?
