Time for a new tournament?

The bullet (1 min) and blitz (5 min) tourneys are great fun and I participate often.

But I find 1 min just a little quick and 5 min just a little slow.

Would anyone else like to see a 3 min tourney added?

Perhaps it could run for 40 mins and thus we'd have 1 min tourneys of 30 mins duration, 3 min tourneys at 40 mins duration, and 5 min at 50 mins duration. That would be a neat structure.

I, for one, would like to see shorter tournaments at closer intervals. For example, 10-minute bullet tournaments every fifteen minutes. That would be more flexible than the 30-minute tourney every hour, where if you miss it you have to wait a whole hour for the next one.

Yes, or maybe three 15 min bullet tourneys per hour starting on the hour, at twenty minutes past the hour, and twenty minutes to the hour?

I would like to play a 3-min-tourneys every 40 minutes as well.

@stocious : good idea. 30 min for a tournament is too long with this count system and wait one hour for an other tournament too
