If you want instant Queen promotion (without requiring you to choose it), you'll have to premove promotion. I don't know any other way of doing that.
Under your preferences option (when you click on your name), if you go to game behavior, you can set promotion to queen automatically to always.
Funny, most people choose lichess over other sites exactly because of its superior design.

Premove promotion
Press your fucking username in the top menu. Then press the fucking "Preferences" button. Then press the fucking "Game behaviour tab". Then adjust the fucking "Promote to Queen automatically" setting.
That's the kind of language I'm sure he'll understand. XD
